Company: Upper Chesapeake Health
Facility: Upper Chesapeake Medical Center at Bel Air
Department: Cardiac Cath Lab

JOB SUMMARY: Under supervision, responsible for the day-to-day management of the supply procurement and charge entry processes for the Cardiac Catheterization and Interventional Angiography Laboratories. Acts as the liaison between the departments, the vendor population and Materials Management to assure supplies are ordered, received, logged and stocked, charges are entered appropriately, and new technologies are reviewed with physicians, department management and team members. Involved in all aspects of inventory management including calculating reorder points, order quantities and PAR levels, and semi-annual inventory counts. Works with Materials Management to assure item numbers are applied to new supply items.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Education & Training: Associates Degree or minimum two years supply/purchasing/inventory experience required. Experience with Excel spreadsheets required. Database creation and maintenance experience preferred.

Work Orientation & Experience: Two years supply/purchasing/inventory experience
required, preferably in a cardiac catheterization or angiography lab setting.

minimal supervision; e) proven ability to maintain a strong working relationship with
both internal and external customers. Full-time Day shift
