Compensation:

$44,200 to $65,400

Job Summary:

The QA Analyst I tests IT applications and ensures they are free of serious defects and conform to written requirements. This is accomplished through a combination of manual and automated testing. The Analyst I works with product development, senior QA staff, and project managers to develop test plans or to follow previously written test plans.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Associates degree in IT or a related field

Experience:

1 year experience in a fast paced Information Technology environment

Knowledge, Skill, Abilities:An understanding of testing best practices and how to apply them to different situationsKnowledge of the software development lifecycle and how quality assurance and testing fit into itExcellent written and verbal communication skillsThe ability to communicate effectively with Developers, Project Managers, management, and peers to work on projects and issuesThe ability to prioritize and manage work loadExperience with programming languages (Delphi, c#, T-SQL, ASP or VBscript) desiredAutomation tools experience (AutomatedQA, Mercury ) desired
