JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Director, Capital Construction, the Project Manager II represents the Capital Projects Management Division (CPMD s) interests in the Stormwater Stakeholders of UK campus meetings; Reviews pre-bid documents for compliance with UK standards and guidelines for Best Management Practices (BMP) for Stormwater erosion protection and prevention on campus construction projects; Collaborates closely with UK Environmental Management Stormwater Division to gather required project design documents pertaining to Stormwater Management; Prepares project establishment in MS4 software; Collects KYR10 Permit and SWEP documents; Periodically visits UK construction projects within the MS4 Permit boundary; Reviews contractor s BMP Inspection Log; Performs visual inspection of the job site to verify the effectiveness of the Stormwater BPM s on the site to prevent erosion into the waters leaving the construction site and the UK MS4 Permit boundary; Monitors streets, walks, and streams on/off campus that carry Stormwater from campus construction sites; Collaborates closely with UK Environmental Management Stormwater Division to track down pollution coming from construction sites; Enters BMP Inspection Reports into the MS4 software and posts photographs, documents, and drawings, as appropriate; and Reports violations of Stormwater standards to CPMD Director, UK Environmental Stormwater Division, Contractors, and Project Managers. The Project Manager II is also assigned to manage various capital projects in addition to the Stormwater oversite responsibilities.
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES
MS Windows/Office; and SAP.
DOES THIS POSITION HAVE SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES*
Experience in construction and design project management. KY Erosion Prevention Inspection Certification; and Driver s License and the ability to drive are preferred..
