Quality Control Tech I
Primary Responsibilities and Assignments:
- Read, interpret and follow inspection procedures and quality plans.
- Read and interpret blueprint and engineering drawings and be able to document non-conformances as required.
- Understand & Verify traceability Requirements and Markings.
- Inspect in-process and finished products.
- Prepare inspection reports, including entering all information and measurement data gathered during inspections, comparing specifications to measurements, and determining product acceptability.
To qualify for this role candidates must meet the following requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Associates Degree or 2 year technical certificate PREFERRED.
- 1-3 years of prior experience performing inspections on metallic products.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide fractions and decimals when checking dimensions, calculating wall thickness and bore mismatches.
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Candidate must be flexibile in regards to shift assignment.
