JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY Job Details:
The Quality Systems Analyst II performs complex analysis of data for integrity, trends, and improvement opportunities. Reports complex information in a meaningful and understandable way. Involved in the design, development, testing, debugging, integrating, implementing, training, and support of programs and applications. The organization's Strategic Plan, Quality and Patient Safety Plan, regulatory requirements, and designated operational and clinical priorities determine priorities.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
*Commits to the mission vision, beliefs and consistently demonstrates our core values.
*Provides assistance to physicians leadership and Medical Center staff in defining and describing appropriate requests for clinical data; designs, produces and distributes clinical and financial data reports that accurately represent information according to procedure; assures data integrity and includes comparisons to benchmark data and trended data when applicable.
*Utilizes critical thinking skills, researches and analyzes clinical and financial data available from databases for studies for internal or external customers in a timely matter; coordinates data retrieval and analysis to support quality improvement initiatives, compliance with regulations/standards and organizational goals.
*Maintains and refreshes knowledge of regulatory agency, e.g. The Joint Commission, CMS, requirements and ensures that accreditation and certification requirements and database management are addressed on an ongoing basis.
*Ensures that all appropriate data are entered into respective databases, clarifies data definitions as needed, verifies accuracy and completeness of data by reviewing system administration and management reports, conducts inter-rater reliability reviews and reviews CMS validation results.
*Proactively monitors systems for functional and/or system errors, utilizes vendor's support service, c-workers and other resources for analysis, problem solving and restoration of the system; documents steps taken by user to locate the source of the problem; follows-up with appropriate personnel to correct errors.
*Conducts analyses and provides application data for interface processing; analyzes, monitors and supports integration processes as appropriate
QUALIFICATIONS: Current Registered Nurse licensure from the State of Nebraska or approved compact state of residence as defined by the Nebraska Nurse Practice Act. Masters preparation preferred. Minimum of five (5) years experience in a related clinical area required. Prior computer application implementation or informatics skills preferred.
