Department: Quality Integration
Job Summary: Works under the supervision of the Quality Director and Performance Improvement Coordinator. Conducts concurrent and/or retrospective review of medical records to support the organization-wide information management plan and maintain compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards. Provides data for analysis to quality teams and medical staff committees to meet quality initiatives as part of the organization-wide quality program.Minimum Education/Training: Associates degree in a health related field.Registration/Certification or License Required: Nursing licensure, RN preferred.Preferred Education: Bachelor s degree.Preferred Experience: Experience with medical record review. Experience with data collection and analysis. Familiarity with regulatory and accreditation standards.Physical Requirements: Occasional lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs.Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling and reaching.Able to tolerate long periods of sitting and/or working on computer.Other Requirements: Detail oriented.Excellent writing, communication and organizational skills.Working knowledge of computer software, e.g. MS Word and spreadsheets. Full Time Days
