Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for Quality Assurance Engineer in Hapeville, GA on 1st and 2nd shift. This is for a long term, temp-to-hire opportunity with a great company that will give you valuable experience to enhance your career. The pay rate for this position is $18.00/hr. As a Quality Assurance Engineer you will be responsible for the inspection of parts and verifying production process integrity. All associates must have experience using measuring tools, micrometers, calipers and height gauge.

Responsibilities for this Quality Assurance Engineer job include:
Determine defects in parts. Accept or reject parts and material based on findings and specifications.
Verify part numbers with physical part
Record any discrepancies
Interact with the manager regarding requirements or discrepancies.
Requires employee to work independently.
Verify count on ticket with actual count
Data Entry into various customer systems.
Ability to follow detailed procedures with limited guidance.
At least two years experience reading blue prints, using scales and measurement tools in the auditing of parts.
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
Intermediate PC, and MS Office skills are required.
Ability to lift cartons up to 50 lbs.
Requires employee to be on their feet for 8 hrs or more.
Ability to physically move, unpack and repack goods.
Professional demeanor.
Willingness to work flexible hours as required.
Ability to pass vision screening.
Advanced mathematical abilities.
Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast paced environment.

Other duties as assigned by the immediate Manager.

Job Experience:

The successful candidate must have a High School Diploma or equivalent degree. An Associates Degree in Engineering, Chemistry or Mathematics is a plus. Manufacturing and Quality experience with tools is necessary. Requires 2+ years experience including broad knowledge of machine shop practices, methods, and design principles. Must work from complex drawings and make calculations using advanced shop mathematics. SAP, Legacy, or Mares is a plus.
We have openings on both the 1st shift (Monday - Friday from 8AM - 4:30PM) and on the 2nd shift 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
