QUALITY ASSURANCE INTERNSHIP / CO-OP (JANUARY THROUGH MAY 2017, MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR THE ENTIRE TIME)
This position is responsible for a wide range of activities supporting the overall function of the West Plant Quality Assurance department. The work requires analytical and organizational skills, problem solving techniques, and great attention to detail. Various tasks include writing testing procedures, gathering data and collaborating with other production departments to develop new testing protocols and training of employees. Resources include the use of custom software and Campbell policies with direct involvement with management, production employees and at times, equipment vendors. This position requires an ability to accurately compile technical information with the capability of communicating the information in a positive, professional manner. The hours are primarily first shift, but may involve some time spent on 2nd or 3rd shift depending on the need.
* Candidate must be currently enrolled in a BA/BS degree program, Science background is preferred
* Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
* Computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office
* Experience in a food industry plant environment with an understanding of manufacturing processes is preferred
* Practical knowledge and application of quality systems is desired
