The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for ensuring products meet certain standards of quality. The position plans, directs, and coordinates quality assurance programs and formulates quality control policies. An important aspect of the role will be supervising a teams of Inspectors and/or Quality Analysts who carry out the detailed assessment of products and their components at different stages of production. The QA Manager will also be held accountable for recruiting and training subordinates, and providing them with documented quality standards as SOPs for their day-to-day operations. This individual works to improve the organization's efficiency and profitability, prepares and updates quality documentation, and selects quality inspection tools and software to support the inspection team.


Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Life Sciences, or a combination of education and experience in cosmetics or a similar FDA regulated industry. A minimum of 5 years of directly related experience will also be required. This individual must also have a strong knowledge of cosmetic products, attributes, and characteristics.


The successful candidate will be a hands on leader with a proven history of mentoring and working well in a fast paced, team environment. A critical thinker with strong interpersonal and organization skills. Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and forms, material safety data sheets, and procedure manuals.
