span Do you have a management background in quality assurance?  If so, look no further, here is the job for you!  You will be working for a growing company and you will be influential in the developing, planning, and directing of quality activities to meet companies quality assurance operations and goals.  You will manage six supervisors between two meat processing plants.  You will add value by focusing on continuous improvement and provide support, structure and training to the quality team.  This direct hire B Quality Assurance Manager /B job is located in the Kenosha, WI area.  If you are open to relocation, we will consider your candidacy for this role.  As a qualified candidate, you will have a minimum of three years of experience in a quality management capacity with specific meat processing industry manufacturing experience.  A Bachelor’s Degree is required, but an MBA is preferred.  As an ideal candidate, you will have a strong understanding of HACCP, GMP, USDA, and food ingredient quality control systems.  You will receive a competitive salary, bonus, and benefits package.   br   br As a B Quality Assurance Manager /B your job duties will include, but not limited to: br ul
li Direct the planning and implementation of quality programs and procedures to ensure compliance with government regulations, such as Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP), and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP).   /li li Implement best practices in laboratory procedures and testing. /li li Ensure products are properly tested based on quality control sampling and accurate testing. /li li Oversee vendor performance, supplier audits, and monitoring programs. /li li Conduct customer audits to ensure products meet quality standards and regulatory expectations. /li li Develop and implement KPIs to monitor adherence to company quality standards and continuous improvement programs. /li li Investigate and respond to customer complaints in regards to product quality. /li li Develop and maintain quality assurance operating budget. /li li Provide leadership to all departments on issues related to product quality and safety for two manufacturing plants.   /li li Communicate directly with customers and act as the subject matter expert on food safety and quality.   /li li Develop and implement quality training programs to maintain a safe, competent, and motivated team.   /li li Maintain quality records and documentation for the quality team. /li /ul

li Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, but an MBA is highly preferred. /li li Five years of experience in quality assurance in the food processing industry with leadership and direct management experience overseeing a team. /li li A strong understanding of HACCP, GMP, USDA, and food ingredient quality control systems /li li Knowledgeable of Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing principles. /li li Proficiency in MS Office. /li li Strong communication (verbal and written) and leadership skills. /li li Strong customer service orientation.   /li /ul
