Job Description

Perform daily process and product compliance audits with objective evidence provided through product sampling and full inspections, data analysis and statistical process control (SPC) charts for the continuing improvement of the stability and process capability of asset recovery operations. Provide support in the implementation of the First Article Inspection (FAI) process for new DVR products. Identify daily production start-ups and verify required documentation, software configuration and version, materials and equipment. Verify that materials supplied on production lines area as specified for the product and validate the effectiveness of incoming materials inspection. Verify the calibration status, settings, and maintenance of equipment. Verify training records of operators on production lines and validate the adequacy and effectiveness of training. Generate appropriate Preventive and Corrective Action Requests for non-conforming materials, equipment, procedures and products. Serve on internal quality system audit team.

Job Experience:

• High School diploma or GED required as minimum. Some college level studies strongly preferred.
• Must have operational knowledge of, and direct work experience in Cell phone Flash programming, CPI validation, and Quality control/Product inspection.
• Experience in navigating and generating reports
• Must be able to read and interpret departmental processes and procedures
• Proficient use of Microsoft programs: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook.
• Demonstrated high level of communication skills in English to include verbal and written.
• Ability to work with little supervision and work well with the team.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly
• Able to show initiative to develop and implement process improvements
• Must be able to interpret and follow Customer Cosmetic Inspection Guidelines
• Thorough understanding of ANSI/ASQ standards and AQL sampling inspection practices, including Customer-specific sampling plans.
• Experience working with statistical sampling techniques, data collection and quality reporting of metrics
• Solid understanding of sampling guidelines and auditing skills.
• Ability to generate quality planning documentation
• Ability to document data based on process audits conducted.
• Basic to intermediate level mathematics and statistics
