Superior group is looking for a Quality Assurance Test Technician I for our client located in Ann Arbor, MI

The Quality Assurance Test Technician I perform standard testing processes on a variety of equipment and records and analyze results.
Assume responsibility for inspecting, evaluating and documenting the quality of parts and products to ensure compliance.
Perform product testing during the manufacturing process that includes engineering evaluations and environmental qualifications/validations.
Perform tests on components before assembly and during development or on finished goods; ensuring all tests is conducted in accordance with test instructions and documented procedures.
Operate environmental chambers and maintain/manage troubleshooting of test lab equipment.
Perform quality measurements/assessments necessary to maintain compliance.
Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all inspection and test results, either manually and electronically.
Work with Quality Assurance Team to maintain and monitor part inspection processes being utilized, providing input regarding needs for inspection processes and equipment.
Provide quality technical support to operations ensuring consistent application of quality fundamentals.
Assist in the development of requirements for test equipment and fixtures.
Assist in the development and documentation of test procedures.
Perform calibration and validation/verification of equipment.
Dresses appropriately for position; keeps self well groomed.
Is consistently at work and on time; ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent; arrives at meetings on time.

Ability to add, subtract, multiple, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Computer literacy (QTS, emails and MS Office)
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, processional journals, technical procedures and drawings, and government regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups or managers and customers.
Effective verbal communication

Required Skills / Qualifications:




High school diploma
Minimum 2 years of quality testing experience in a manufacturing environment




Preferred Skills / Qualifications:



Associates degree in a technical field preferred
