Responsibilities: The Quality Control (QC) Analyst works directly with the Quality Control team to review all files from Funding prior to commencement and vendor payment. The QC Analyst will examine each deal for clerical and data entry errors as well as adherence to Direct Capital's Funding Best Practices, Desktop Procedures, and both Direct Capital and CIT Policy and applicable federal regulations. They will be responsible for documenting any errors/exceptions and managing corrections through reporting. The QC Analyst will assist the Quality Control Supervisor and Program Compliance Manager with additional tasks regarding compliance and internal audit including but not limited to research/review of AML related alerts generated by Client On Board screening, trends in QC errors, and post file QA review. QC Analyst is expected to provide ongoing recommendations for training and process improvements for funding and credit as it relates to QC and QA findings. The QC Analyst will also assist in generating and updating Desktop Procedures as they relate to the Quality Control and Quality Assurance Processes, as well as QC review and approval of other departmental Draft Desktop Procedures for proper formatting and reasonable content. This is an entry level position.
Qualifications: Strong attention to detail required; Strong written and oral communication skills required; technical writing skills a plus; Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment; Familiarity with Regulatory/AML compliance a plus; Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
