The Quality Inspector is directly responsible for the inspection of raw materials, components, in-process materials, production records, and finished goods to verify conformance to specifications, cGMPs and regulatory requirements pursuant to IS0 standards. Additional responsibilities include entering required data for inspected items, performing sampling, inspection, and documentation, and reviewing activities as required. The Quality Inspector will serve as a resource for problem identification, resolution and continuous improvement. Participation in the internal audit, corrective action and document review process will be required as well.
Education and Experience:
Candidates should have an Associate?s Degree in a technical discipline or 'equivalent' education and related work experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment. The Quality Assurance Manager can determine whether education and training are 'equivalent' based on experience. 1-2 years of broad quality system experience is preferred.
Internal auditing experience is a plus
The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined with an ability to read technical drawings. Must be familiar with tools and equipment including calipers, optical comparators, micrometers, and force gages.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel a plus. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be meticulous with high attention to detail.
