JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently looking for a qualified Quality Control Inspector/Technician to conduct QC/QA tests of our different products. It would be beneficial if a candidate possessed a working understanding of both an ME and EE, but it is not required. This individual will work as part of a team developing various quality tests and procedures to ensure that our products exceed our customer?s expectations.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
? Inspecting incoming products to make sure that they meet quality standards
? Setting up testing procedures to ensure products meet acceptable quality levels
? Trouble shooting defective products and providing solutions for improvement
? Filling out proper reports for various testing procedures
? Communicate daily with engineers, internal team members, and at times customers
? Keeping the testing area neat and organized
? MUST be organized and detail oriented
? Approves new product designs, incoming materials or finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
? Communicating required adjustments to Management and/or factory directly.
? Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
? Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs.
? Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
? Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Quality Inspector Skills:
Analyzing Information , Reporting Research Results, Documentation Skills, Promoting Process Improvement, Safety Management, Managing Processes, Manufacturing Methods and Procedures, Supports Innovation, CAD, Quality Engineering, Operations Research

Requirements:

- AS or BS in Electronics, EE, other electronic certificates, or 2 to 5 years relevant work experience
- Basic understanding of electronics & soldering
- Follow all safety rules and standards
- Have the capability and desire to offer creative input for designing products
- Have strong organizational skills
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Have a strong desire and passion to continuously hone their skills
