We are looking for an experienced Quality Control (QC) Manager to join our team in Richmond, Kentucky! A successful QC Manager will ensure project quality compliance and develop, manage and coordinate activities of the organization according to the direction provided by leadership. (S)he will mentor staff and initiate quality control training, development and policies to ensure overall compliance with all contract requirements and corporate requirements related to Quality Control. (S)he will develop quality control plans as required for each job, work with the Compliance Officer to create and update Evergreen's all applicable company-wide policies and procedures including developing quality initiatives and controls, forms and specifications and will work with programs to ensure compliance and training are provided timely and in conformity with organizational expectations. (S)he will also work with Program Managers to determine the best procedures and test frequencies to initiate within the organization.

Job Duties and Functions:

* Determine, regularly audit and relay any circumstances which may affect quality control to all applicable staff and management;

* Directly manage employees in the Quality Control Department and/or assigned staff to ensure company compliance;

* Manage projects, audits, training plans in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws;

* Plan, assign and direct work, appraising performance and all applicable follow up actions for staff and projects;

* Address and report all quality control complaints and concerns;

* Train staff to ensure compliance relating to recording test data, plan requirements and contract requirements;

* Daily ensure all data for required raw material and finished product testing is correct and complete;

* Enforce maintenance of a clean, safe and orderly work environment by properly identifying and communicating corrections on improper storing practices and procedures;

* Manage all aspects of Quality Control in the organization including safety initiatives and controls updating of all applicable working instructions, forms and specifications;

* Provide all employees and applicable assigned personnel with necessary training on company procedures, methods and expectations;

* Work with management to determine the best procedures and test frequency and present them for approval by the General Manager;

* Examine project work for exactness, neatness and conformance to policies and procedures;

* Conduct and document investigations and verification of complaints from customers and staff;

* Analyze results of Quality Control test results in order to propose optimization of the testing plans, formulas, testing methods and also specification for work processes, products and test, including temporary modification to the frequency testing, if necessary;

* Measure/analyze testing error and implement training activities to minimize errors;

* Develop feedback methods to train and advise employees on best practices discovered during QC testing and verification;

* Manage the development, implementation, support and execution of strategies, processes, practices and development aids to help the overall achievement of quality goals during product development, both internally and with external partnerships;

* Travel as required to ensure overall company compliance relating to quality control;

* Maintains data, analysis and provides reports on the compliance with our company quality control process;

* All other duties relating to the overall organizational quality control and/or as assigned by the Director of Compliance and Owners;

Experience and Skills:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA):

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Five years of field experience in installing and maintaining Electronic Security Systems and/or Fire/Life Safety

* Required to have proven abilities in training/mentoring in quality work practices

* Proven track record of developing and implementing strong quality assurance processes and to author or recommend quality audit processes

* Willingness and ability to attend and complete QA/QC training

* Willingness to work with general/partner companies and develop a QA/QC program that complements their programs and adopts best practices

* Proven experience developing Quality Control identifiers

* Previous experience, contribution and success participating in overall leadership plans and organizational goals

* Previous experience managing several projects while managing and mentoring subordinates;

* Have exceptional organizational skills, time management skills and overall follow through skills

* Be able to effectively communicate to others as required to ensure common knowledge of activities support team input, knowledge, understanding and deadline requirements

* Proven experience developing policies, procedures, training plans, checklist to ensure all requirements are met and processed timely

* Required to be a proficient user of Internet Applications including search engine technology and Microsoft software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

* Be a team player with strong work ethics and the ability to adapt to organizational change

Other requirements:

* Able to pass a pre-employment background investigation and federal-class drug screen

* Able to pass random background investigations and federal-class drug screens as required by the ownership and the company policy

* Able to pass Evergreen's standard of a clean driving record

* Eligible for a top secret security clearance and maintain your clearance in good standing
