Required Qualifications: Degree in Engineering or Science with at least 4 to 7 years of related experience Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management system Must have a working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to solicit support from another functional group to achieve quality goal Performs a variety of tasks. Candidate must be a team player conscientious quality-oriented detailed-oriented with meticulous work habits and able to work unsupervised A team player self-driven and able to work under pressure with a sense of urgency Preferred Education and Experience Six-Sigma experience and/or certification. ISO 9001:2008 or 2015 working knowledge Familiar with Software Development Process Agile and SCRUM Familiar with UML SysML and system modeling with tools like MagicDraw

Job Requirements: The primary responsibility of this position is to develop implement improve and sustain Draper Quality Policies and Procedures. This role is to serve as an internal quality expert and resource to all departments within Draper. This role will interact with Internal and External Customers Vendors and Quality team members. Other responsibilities include: Helping develop ISO9001:2008 and/or ISO9001:2015 Quality Management System. Audit processes to ensure the methods/procedures were followed. Participates in and performs audits root causes analysis and corrective action for process related issues. Communicates significant quality related issues to all departments of the organization and provides input on whether to accept the product and recommends process improvements. Drive for continuous improvement activities to enhance the quality system. Work with suppliers and customers to resolve quality issues. Analyze failures and corrective and preventive actions in response to issue reports. Supports and maintains QA data and management systems. Responsible for ensuring all documentation related to product quality such as test procedure and work instructions are properly configuration managed. Interface with Engineering to ensure transfer to Production of new products are in accordance with approved data. Coordinates appropriate inspections and control plans for manufacturing operations. Help prepare and submit documents to customers review and approve FAI reports from suppliers for new products and components. Checks engineering drawings and specifications for standard products contracted products and purchased items for quality inspections. Auditing components received by suppliers. Evaluate & prepare non-conforming materials and reports. Interpret engineering drawings and inspect components received by providers.
