Chief Duties and/or Responsibilities:
Support activities for continuous improvements on numerous production lines.
Review and understand production process with mindset of diagnosing trouble occurrences.
Conducting process audits.
Engage in process defect reduction activities from root cause investigation to countermeasure implementation.
Prepare defect trend reports in various formats and lead quality defect reduction activities.
Communicate daily with core team and management on investigation status and possible improvements.
Attend various cross functional team meetings during investigation stages of defect analysis.
Attend weekly management meetings to present investigation findings, known issues, detailed actions being taken, and countermeasures.
Bachelors degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Other engineering fields can be considered with evidence of working knowledge in electronics.
Possess ability to prepare & present data in a scientific reporting format for automotive electronics.
Possess general working knowledge of automotive or industrial manufacturing.
Possess working knowledge of electrical assembly process (Screen Printing, Selective Solder, Reflow Solder, Chip Placement, etc.)
General understanding of software programming at various levels.
Proficient in working with o-scopes and other test equipment to diagnose problems.
Possess skills to perform electrical root cause analysis.
Experience in technical support for automotive products.
Ability to understand and develop test specifications for hardware and software.
General working knowledge of AIAG quality requirements.
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
