External Deadline to Apply
Design, install, and evaluate quality assurance processes, process/product controls, and procedures. Support new product introduction using APQP tools. Conduct training of QA concepts and tools. Interact with customers and suppliers on quality related issues.
*Facilitate problem solving and continuous improvement activities
*Monitor and act on quality indicators
*Develop and maintain process/product controls including process/equipment verification
*Verify internal, supplier, and customer corrective action implementation and effectiveness
*Perform internal and supplier quality audits
*Select gauging technique/methods
*Support DFMEAs and PFMEAs
*Manages corrective action system and respond to customer complaints
*Support supplier development for adequate controls and processes to assure product quality
*Provide support for Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives, company wide
*Other duties, special assignments, or projects as needed and assigned.
*5 years quality engineering related experience; or relevant combination of education and technical aptitude
*Advanced computer skills including MS Office and statistical software
*Thorough knowledge of GD&T
*Knowledge of advanced quality tools including APQP, FMEA, etc.
*Bachelor s degree in a technical field preferred
