TYCO FIRE PROTECTION PRODUCTS (TFPP) IS CURRENTLY HIRING A QUALITY INSPECTOR (INDIRECT QUALITY INSPECTOR I) TO WORK AT THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS LOCATION. The Quality Inspector is responsible for making sure the product meets standards of quality and safety per the companys policies/procedures, ISO 9001, ATEX and other regulatory standards. The primary role is to perform random and some 100% product inspections prior to shipping out to customers. Inspections must be documented in the appropriate inspection log for review, data trends and corrective actions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Quality Inspector will be responsible for ensuring all production processes, inspection and testing has been completed by comparing the product to the job orders, engineering specifications and test records. Perform process audits, as needed and verify various areas calibration records. Ensure the adherence to the nonconforming material procedure when/if product is found to be out of specification and implement containment actions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent. Pay attention to detail, good communication skills when working with cross functional team members and good report writing skills. Skilled in MS Excel and Access a plus.
