Chief Duties and/or Responsibilities:

* Develops and implements a quality inspection program to ensure conformity of purchased material and final products to quality standards.

* Maintain inspection standard documents and records.

* Develop, promote, maintain and execute (HIAMS)AM-GA Quality Inspection Systems. Administrate the Corrective Action System. Analyze internal and best practices requirements to assess their effect on internal systems.

* Establish, operate, and maintain necessary processes for quality systems. Quality Systems include inspection process, standards & system based on customer specific requirements, and TS16949 requirement items.

* Drive continuous improvement processes and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

* Provide leadership to all departments in the development and implementation of corrective action plans for nonconforming material.

* Monitor and communicate Company-wide performance on internal corrective action activity.

* Support and Maintain TS16949 and customer requirements.

* Plan and support all internal, customer and agency audits and addresses all non-conformances.

* Support the interface with supplier quality representatives concerning problems with quality assurance and assure that effective corrective action is implemented.

* Plan and assign work of subordinates. Responsible for Quality Inspection Department in terms of costs, methods and personnel.

* Develop and/or adapt inspection equipment to meet quality control standards, make suggestions with regard to procedures, standards and equipment to facilitate work and maintain product quality.

Qualified Applicants will possess the following:

* A bachelor's degree in a related field with a minimum of five years' experience in Quality Assurance in the automotive industry, or 10 years' experience in automotive quality systems.

* Experience with ISO/TS 16949 and Internal Quality Systems.

* Knowledge and use of a wide variety of measuring instruments and technical drawings. Must have some calibration and statistical software knowledge.
* Extensive knowledge of MSA requirements.

* Diverse knowledge of inspection and control methods, statistical techniques and documentation.

* Diverse knowledge of inspection and control methods, statistical techniques and documentation.

* Exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to train and motivate others.

* Excellent communication and multi-tasking abilities.

* Supervisory experience.
