JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY Seeking experienced manufacturing engineer, process engineer or quality engineer to assure stable quality manufacturing operations and provide continuous improvement to provide technical process, equipment, product, environmental and safety support to facility manufacturing powdered chemicals.
PRODUCTS: Plastic Additives, Polymers, Metal Oxides, Chelants, Salts, Ceramics, Proteins, Starches, Hydrocolloids, Silicas, Surfactants, Peroxides, Agricultural Solids.
PROCESSES: Milling, Blending, Mixing, Slurrying, Hydrolyzation, Aeration, Filtration, Fluid Bed and Controlled Particle Drying, atomization, Spray Granulation, Spray Drying, Dry Filtering, Sifting, etc.
EQUIPMENT & SYSTEMS: Ribbon Blenders, Batch Mixers, Roller & Ball Mills, Roto Mills, Hammer Mills, Spray Driers, Pulse Driers, Heat Exchangers, Reactors, Bed Reactors, Fluidized Beds, Compaction Equipment, Dust Control Systems, Clean Rooms, Dust and Explosion Suppression Systems, Deflagration Equipment, etc.
*** Continually improve process and quality systems.
*** Oversee administration of controlled copies of batch records, work instructions and labeling materials.
*** Inspect and audit facilities and production lines to ensure compliance with quality protocols and good manufacturing practices.
*** Administer quality records for new and existing equipment and processes used in manufacturing.
*** Ensure completeness, accuracy and compliance of records in support of batch release and equipment release activities.
*** Analyze process variances and product non-conformances and collaboratively develop solutions.
*** Maintain and enforce air quality and environmental program.
*** Monitor and improve processes and quality systems.
*** Promote and coach compliance with quality related procedures.
*** Maintain conformance to ISO and GMP standards.
*** Lead customer complaint investigations.
*** Oversee calibration of critical lab and production equipment.
