* Perform quality control of incoming goods and report results * Perform quality control of WIP inspection and report results * Perform shipping audits (Dock Audits) of finished parts * Report quality problems found to management * Document and report warranty part failure analysis * Create and collect of KPI to identify improvement opportunities * Collect KPI's from other departments * Create quality alert reports * Maintain Calibration System * Create Work Instructions and process descriptions * Collect data for supplier quality ranking system * Create, maintain and evaluate 8D-Reports (internal and external) * Identify, process and disposition nonconforming material * Participate in quality meetings (aftermarket updates, quality issues etc.) * Perform internal audits and analyze the results * Advise and increase employee's general understanding of quality awareness
* Associates Degree in a technical field with three years of related experience * Automotive Experience preferred * Experience developing and implementing inspection and test plans * Able to read drawings * High technical understanding * Microsoft office (Power Point, Excel, Access, Word) * Knowledge of problem-solving methods (such as 8D) * Skilled at operating manual and electronic measurement tools * Knowledge of requirements for the DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 and TS16949 * Able to perform Internal and Supplier Audits * Ability to coordinate and organize several quality activities simultaneously * Experience in customer claim/warranty requests
