JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY The Magnetic Resonance Technologist is involved in hands on patient care. The Magnetic Resonance Technologist manages room workflow and facilitates care of patients in conjunction with the Magnetic Resonance Lead Technologist
Actively participates in plan of action in accordance to workflow needs.
Adheres to policies and procedures for daily operations.
Works with the Magnetic Resonance Lead Technologist to ensure that the imaging standards are maintained.
Recommends changes to the protocol that would improve the overall quality and care for the patient.
Participates in the quality assurance plan for the Magnetic Resonance program. Participates in the research and development of new exam and protocols.
Enters the appropriate charges into the RIS/HIS (Meditech) accurately for all exams.
Ensures that all exams of high quality and available for interpretation in a timely fashion.
Follows workflow plan developed by the supervisor, and alerts the supervisor to problems as necessary to a changing environment.
Monitors the equipment performance and takes the appropriate measures to have the problems resolved (i.e. arrange service/repairs).
Consistently demonstrates effective communication, both written and verbal, with all departmental, hospital staff, and vendors.
Performs all other duties as assigned or required to ensure efficient operation of the department and quality patient care.

* Must have graduated from an approved program in Magnetic Resonance Imaging
* Must maintain a current ARRT registry in the Magnetic Resonance Imaging
* Must maintain a current BCLS
* Minimum of one year experience in clinical setting.
* Performs all other duties as assigned or required to ensure efficient operation of the department and quality patient care.
