Job Description

The Nutrition Services department located at Eugene du Pont Preventative Medicine and Rehabilitation Institute (PMRI) is currently recruiting for a full-time, out-patient registered dietitian. This position requires you to perform in-depth nutritional assessments for patients with chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, obesity, and metabolic syndromes. You will also need to perform nutrient analysis and assist with the development of educational material while conducting educational programs throughout the community. You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team in bariatric surgery or medical weight management in providing medical nutrition therapy classes and individualized counseling. Experience in counseling patients with diabetes and CDE, CDE eligible or willingness to get CDE credential, strongly preferred. Experience with eating disorders a plus. Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Food and Nutrition or Dietetics with current RDLDN status; At least 3 years experience in clinical counseling and group teaching.
