REO Claims Rep II

JOB FUNCTIONS: The primary responsibility of this candidate is to closely monitor the status of REO and Loss Mitigation claims filed by both outsource vendors and internal team players. Effectively communicate the status of aged claims to vendors as well as monitor the receipt and appropriate application of claim proceeds to loans. This candidate will ensure that all vendors meet or exceed contractual SLA timelines to file initial and subsequent claims with HUD, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, private investors and MI Claims. In addition, this candidate is responsible for the referral of loans to close out once all claim proceeds are received and applied. This position would also be expected to assist with Invoice Review and Cash Decisioning. Specific responsibilities of the position include: Monitor weekly REO and Loss Mitigation pipeline claim reports across all loan types Monitor weekly Property Preservations Pipeline reports Communicate aged claims to vendors Ensure claims include all financial balances outstanding on the loan to the extent possible Research Investor Reimbursement Requests Monitor the receipt and appropriate application of claim proceeds at loan level Ensure Sale Proceeds are received timely and applied accurately Gather required documentation for claim review Complete Officer Certificates Complete amortization schedules and claims Refer loans to close out timely Complete Invoice Reviews Assist with Cash Decisioning
