JOB DESCRIPTIONGENERAL SUMMARY/ OVERVIEW STATEMENT:
Under the supervision of the Executive Director, independently carries out and designs highly sophisticated and independent projects. The Fellow is anticipated to receive or has a PhD, MD MD/PhD, PharmD or equivalent doctorate, and/or Masters in Public Health (or comparable degree). The Fellow works under the supervision of a Faculty Mentor in the institution, and is allowed to and encouraged to publish the results of his or her research or scholarship and receive credit for such during the appointment period. The Fellow will receive training in epidemiology, biostatistics, and implementation research, professional development and mentorship during the appointment period. The Fellow will work in space dedicated to the Center for Healthcare Delivery Sciences (C4HDS), , The fellow will participate in joint activities with Stanford School of Medicine Clinical Excellence Research Center (CERC). In addition, the Fellow may interact with investigators and policy makers in many other governmental and healthcare industry settings, including potential to establish successful project-specific collaborations in a variety-of directions.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Researches, develops, designs, executes and interprets pragmatic clinical trials. .
* Contributes to scientific literature, reports, journals and presentations.
* Investigates, creates and develops new methods and technologies for research advancement.
SKILLS/ ABILITIES/ COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
* Strong research design and analytical skills.
* Strong database statistical skills.
* Strong interest in implementing pragmatic clinical trials Excellent time management/organizational skills.
* Strong written and verbal presentation skills.
