RN - Case Manager

SUMMARY:
Under the direct supervision of the designated coordinator, demonstrates proficiency in administering the fundamentals of the nursing process, contributes to the nursing assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. Develops and participates in the care plan of the patient.

Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a minimum of Bachelor level degree preferred. Current, valid Nevada RN license required and current BLS certification required. A minimum of three to five years clinical nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting required. Case Management certification preferred. Utilization management/quality management experience preferred. Must have excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
