RN Infection Control Practitioner

Here, our multidisciplinary teams come together to treat, care for and communicate with a broad range of patients and their families, in a wide variety of care settings. We are currently seeking an experienced RN Infection Control Practitioner to assist in the implementation, management and improvement of the hospitals Infection Control Program. This will include collecting, reporting, and analyzing data; identifying and addressing opportunities for improvement; and coordinating activities, and supporting the development and implementation of medical staff and hospital infection control performance improvement initiatives. In addition, you will assist in achieving compliance with regulatory and accrediting agency standards. The qualified candidate will possess the following: Bachelor s degree related to Infection Control or Healthcare Two years of infection control experience Professional experience that demonstrates a progressive leadership background Current DC RN license or eligibility to obtain one is preferred A Master s degree is preferred Certification in specialty is preferred
