RN Labor Delivery

Eden Medical Center is a 271 bed, not for profit medical center with approximately 1,601 employees at our two campuses. The Eden Campus in scenic Castro Valley includes Eden Medical Center and San Leandro Hospital in San Leandro, CA. Eden is home to the regional Level II Trauma Center for Southern Alameda County, the Sutter East Bay Neuroscience Center, adult psychiatry, a wide range of rehabilitation services, a Community Cancer Center, advanced imaging services and complete surgical and acute care services.Through our affiliation with Sutter Health, Eden Medical Center is part of a large network of non profit hospitals and care centers in Northern California and is linked to nearly 30 acute care hospitals and 4,0 physicians throughout the region. Together, we're working to improve the health of our communities.Coordinates professional nursing care within the Labor and Delivery unit; coordinates care planning with other disciplines, maintains standards of professional practice.Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Two years previous clinical experience in L and D and OB nursing. Current CA RN license, NRP and BLS certifications. Previous experience in nursery preferred. Must attend a fetal monitoring certification class every 2 years.
