THE RUSH NEUROSURGERY CLINIC*

If so, you are the right candidate for our new outpatient RN MANAGER position

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

*

Key management role in our dynamic neurosurgery ambulatory care setting.
*

Position is predominantly Days, no weekends or holidays

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

*

Responsible for the coordination of clinical care for patients and direct supervision of a collaborative clinical support staff in a dynamic ambulatory care setting
*

The nurse manager develops and manages the work flow of the program in direct collaboration with the Practice Administrator, Medical Director(s) and faculty.
*

Will focus on developing the team focused on a commitment to achieving program growth while meeting established patient care goals
*

Responsible for providing regulatory and quality oversight to the staff
*

Assists in the implementation of program development initiatives, departmental initiatives, regulatory standards, and quality improvement efforts
*

Participates in policy and procedure development and review for clinical activities
*

May participate in clinical trials and research activities in the clinical setting
*

Facilitates care of patients throughout the Rush system utilizing interdepartmental collaboration



QUALIFICATIONS

*

Bachelor s degree in nursing required; masters preferred
*

Current licensure as a registered nurse
*

3-5 years clinical RN experience
*

Neuro and ambulatory experience preferred
*

1 year management/supervisory experience required
*

Basic computer skills required, Epic experience preferred
*

Excellent communication, interpersonal and team building skills
