JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY Description
The Nursing Manager for Labor and Delivery has the total responsibility of the management of a specialized area of nursing with twenty-four (24) hour accountability. The major functions include planning, organizing, staffing, directing, coordinating, reporting, and budgeting for the unit. The Nursing Director may assume the functions of the Administrative Supervisor for designated periods of time. This position will also render professional nursing care to patients as necessary. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of CHRISTUS Health St. Elizabeth Hospital, and demonstrating behavior consistent with the Core Values.
- Graduate of a State Board accredited School of Nursing or equivalent ; BSN required
- Current licenses or permit to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas
- 5+ Years Experience
