The role of the Professional Registered Nurse is to provide quality nursing care in collaboration with the medical staff and within the guidelines of the New Jersey State Nurse Practice Act. It is the responsibility of the Professional Nurse to implement the Hospital's mission and goals through established policies, procedures, and performance improvement activities. Implementation of these goals occurs through organization and administration of individualized age-specific professional nursing care to patients within an assigned unit of the hospital. The understanding of the principals of growth and development will be incorporated to assess each patient's age-specific needs and determine age-specific treatment modalities.
Current and active NJ RN license
Current BLS Heart Saver/Health Care Provider
Minimum one (1) year recent/current experience in Operating Room required
Additional certifications may be required
Additional experience/training may be required based on departmental specific needs.
Strong critical care assessment and thinking skills required
Strong organizational and time management skills required
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
