SERVICE AREA OVERVIEW
Northside Hospital is one of the largest and most respected providers of comprehensive cancer services in the Southeast, combining the latest in technology and research with compassionate patient-centered care. The Northside Hospital Cancer Institute offers the best of both worlds: clinical excellence on par with academic-based programs, along with the personalized and attentive care typically associated with a community hospital. Our Program has received an Outstanding Achievement Award as a fully accredited Comprehensive Community Hospital Cancer Program by the American College of Surgeon s Commission on Cancer. Specialty areas include BMT, Women s, Prostate, and Research.
The Infusion Registered Nurse is responsible for providing specialized, direct oncology nursing care to patients in an Outpatient setting. Administers prescribed medications, chemotherapy and treatments in accordance with nursing standards and practice.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred. Active Georgia Registered Nurse licensure. Minimum of Two ( 2) years experience in with one (1) year of Oncology experience preferred. Current BLS card (CPR). National certification in oncology preferred.
Unit is open for modified hours on weekends so rotating weekends are required for this unit located within the hospital.
Resource agreement requires one year of clinical experience.

WORK HOURS: 7:30a-5:30p
WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS: Yes
ON-CALL REQUIREMENTS: No
