JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY Description
Responsible for coordinating quality management and performance improvement activities related to assigned functions (peer review, core measures, outcome reporting or internal auditing). Assists with: ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements; planning, monitoring, and evaluation of performance improvement activities within the facility; and education and training of associates related to performance improvement, patient safety, and other key areas. Other duties include, but are not limited to: assisting with the developing and meeting annual goals and objectives for the department, building strategic relationships within and across departments, and developing and maintaining a comprehensive interdisciplinary performance improvement and patient safety program.
- Current RN Texas license.
- Certification in Quality Management (CPHQ) preferred.
- 2 to 3 years Quality Improvement experience in acute care hospital preferred
- Experience in continuous quality improvement methodologies and outcomes reporting preferred.
