The Home Health RN role possesses special skills and knowledge of care practices and regulations required for the provision of care to patients in their home. Maintains or shares accountability for comprehensive oversight of patient assignments as indicated by patient need. Performs comprehensive patient assessment, prepares individualized Plan of Care (POC). Makes revisions to POC based on assessment. Must be able to use independent judgment and clinical skills. Coordinates with other disciplines and departments. Able to perform duties and make appropriate decisions in an independent setting; possesses effective problem-solving skills; readily identifies resources and seeks assistance appropriately.
**$5,000.00 Sign On Bonus available**
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Minimum of one (1) year clinical nursing experience with home care experience preferred or as per state regulations.
Active State Licensed Registered Nurse in accordance with the Board of Nurse Examiners rules for Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC). Must have a current State driver's license and current automobile insurance. CPR certified.
Must possess good assessment skills, understand accepted standards of practice, and be able to apply to clinical situations; able to problem-solve and make appropriate decisions in independent settings. Must be able to manage patient-specific equipment. Employment requires use of pager. Dependable transportation is essential.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Work involves continuous exposure to pleasant and unpleasant working conditions or undesirable elements. May involve exposure to a variety of components that are potentially hazardous or harmful and requires precautions for protection from injury or illness. May occasionally involve exposure to harsh weather and hazardous driving conditions. When at Corporate office, works in offices, which are clean, well lit, and air-conditioned.
Must be knowledgeable of applicable Agency policies, procedures, and organizational structure; must adhere to the policy on Code of Ethical Behavior and our Compliance Plan; must work well with all levels of Associates; must be able to remain calm in the face of irate Clients; and most importantly, must DEMONSTRATE THE CORE VALUES AT ALL TIMES.
