RN Staff- Operating Room Rose Medical Center 4-10 hour shifts-03216-29510 Primary Location: United States-Colorado-Denver Job: Nursing - Professional Schedule: Full-time Position Summary: The Registered Nurse demonstrates knowledge and skills in the care of patients. Each service also requires specialized skills. The delivery of care is based on criteria that is age appropriate and is based on the physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety, and learning needs of the individual patients. The Registered Nurse may be asked to float to areas other than hisher assigned service area, and will perform only those duties for which heshe has demonstrated competency. The Registered Nurse performs delegated duties consistent with the scope of practice (Colorado Nurse Practice Act), regulatory agencies and functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care at Rose Medical Center. Position Requirements: A. LicensureCertificationRegistration: Current Colorado Registered Nurse License. B. Education and Training: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. BSN is desirable. Current BLS certification. C. Experience: Able to articulate and demonstrate appropriate nursing theory and practice in the perioprative setting.. Experience requirements are specific to positions but one year experience in the perioperative setting is preferred. D. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Demonstrates good organizational skills. Provides safe and appropriate patient care within the Standards of Nursing Practice at Rose Medical Center. Displays appropriate judgment and problem solving skills. Communicates positively and professionally with all internal and external customers. Demonstrates competency in perioperative nursing. Degree of Supervision Required: Under supervision of Manager Director Designee Orientation Period: Orientation will be contingent on experience.
