Valle Vista Health System is a free-standing,
full-service provider of behavioral health and addiction
treatment services. We offer treatment for psychiatric
disorders as well as drug and alcohol rehabilitation and
detoxification services. We have offered treatment for
children, adolescents and adults since 1983. Valle Vista
offers a full continuum of care including day or evening
outpatient services, intensive outpatient services,
partial hospitalization, residential. The Nursing
Manager is a registered nurse who shares delegated
responsibility and accountability with the Director of
Nursing in all matters related to the adult unit,
programmatic issues, unit staff, patient management and
care, and daily FTE's. Assist Director of Nursing with
compliance to hospital policy and procedures
SUMMARY: The Nursing Supervisor is responsible
supervision of Registered Nurses as well as Milieu
Specialists and Mental Health Technicians. The Nursing
Supervisor ensures coordinated delivery of patient care
in accordance with the established standards of care,
mental health practice and hospital policy, goals and
objectives. This position assists in contributing to the
hospital's philosophy, objectives, educational and
Performance Improvement efforts.
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Graduate from an accredited
Registered Nurse program required; Bachelor's Degree
preferred.
Experience: A minimum of two (2) years experience as an
RN required; minimum of two (2) years experience in a
psychiatric hospital setting or related professional
setting preferred.
Experience in supervision preferred.
Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the Indiana
State Board of Nursing.
