The Critical Care Department at Texas Health H-E-B consists of 18 beds, is presently pursuing the BEACON award designation from AACN and has average nurse tenure of 14 years in the department. The unit utilizes aggressive, successful methods including induced therapeutic hypothermia protocol amp; sepsis protocol. If you are an RN interested in advancing your skills to incorporate care of patients requiring Intra-aortic balloon pump therapy, and CRRT (continuous renal replacement therapy), then Texas Health H-E-B is the right place for you. Our Intensive Care Unit is in need of Registered Nurses to join our team. The right candidate is one that is proactive on the part of their patient, enjoys the variety of diagnosis that our Critical Care department sees, and enjoys the challenge of bringing evidenced based best practices to the bedside Qualifications for this position include: * Graduate of an accredited nursing program * Licensed to practice nursing in the State of Texas * Current CPR ACLS * Two years of critical care nursing experience In addition, you must hold a high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills and the ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
