Radio Frequency Software Engineer

and administrative services to government and commercial
clients. Sabre is currently recruiting for two Radio
Frequency Software Engineers to work in Aberdeen, MD.
Ideal candidate will have software
development/programming skills and Radio Frequency
propagation experience and knowledge. This is an
exciting position working in a challenging, hands on
environment supporting the Department of Defense and
other specialized customers in the Aberdeen MD area. The
position entails working to develop, evolve and evaluate
complex, automated, spectrum management tools for
application to dynamic RF environments such as those
encountered on the tactical battlefield. Spectrum issues
cover a wide range of systems including radio,
electronic warfare and other RF systems. Systems
analyzed will include both those in development stages
as well as systems that are already in the field or
about to be deployed. The candidate for this position must
be willing to travrel (primarily within the continental
United States) and may be required to work extended
hours on occasion.
Experience and background in the following areas is
required:
* Advanced C++ (C-Sharpe) and/or JAVA Programming
* SQL Data Base Management
* Radio Frequency Propagation.
* DoD, Army and FCC Spectrum Policies
* Knowledge of RF emitters typically encountered on
the battlefield (Communications and Electronic
Warfare)
Requirements:
* A Bachelor s degree in Electrical or Computer
Engineering or a related field and 4+ years of
relevant experience
* The ability to construct and deliver briefings to a
wide range of audiences
* Proven communication and presentation skills as well
as experience operating both independently and
within a team and the ability to interface directly
with customers and senior staff
Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD
Secret Clearance
