Radio Frequency Spectrum Engineer Position

Sabre Systems, Inc. is currently recruiting for a Radio
Frequency/Spectrum Engineer to work in Aberdeen, MD.
This is an exciting position envolving state of the art
automated, dynamic spectrum access and sensing, embedded
spectrum management techniques and working in
challenging, hands on environment supporting the
Department of Defense and other specialized customers in
the Aberdeen MD area. Successful candidate will assist
and engage in conducting RF Systems Engineering Analyses
and development of Spectrum Supportability Risk
Assessments for a wide range of radio, electronic
warfare and other RF systems. Systems analyzed will
include both those in development stages as well as
systems that are already in the field or about to be
deployed. Use of new and evolving spectrum management
tools will also be required as part of the analysis.
Requirements:
A Bachelor s degree in Electrical or Computer
Engineering or a related field and 10+ years of relevant
experience
The ability to perform as a Technical Project Manager,
and the ability to construct and deliver briefings to a
wide range of audiences
Experience and background in the following areas is
required:
* Radio Frequency Propagation.
* DoD, Army and FCC Spectrum Policies
* C++ Programming
* Knowledge of the DD 1494 Frequency Allocation
Process
* Knowledge of RF emitters typically encountered on
the battlefield (Communications and Electronic
Warfare) EMI/EMC environments
Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD
Secret Clearance
