The UMHC/Sylvester, Department of Radiology is currently seeking a Radiologic Technologist (Per Diem). Position will be located at our new Satellite facility in Plantation.

The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing all radiographic procedures at a technical level, with minimal or no supervision of technical detail. This employee performs a variety of technical procedures which will require independent judgment with ingenuity, initiative and an understanding of anatomical position and physiology, to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiology diagnosis..

The minimum qualifications for this position are as follows: Must possess a valid State of Florida License as a General Radiographer. (State of Florida Limited/Basic License Holders is not acceptable). AS degree, successful completion of a 2 year AMA-CAHEA (Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation). JRCERT (Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology) is required. Valid ARRT (Radiography) certification is required. Must have one (1) year of relevant experience. BLS Certification is required. Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications will be considered.
