Today, The Medical Center and our affiliated doctors and services extend across much of southern New Hampshire.
Summary:
Plans, implements and leads the daily operation of the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and all associated components including imaging modalities, HIS/RIS, CR, and other peripheral devices. Works in close collaboration with the Radiology System Administrator in supporting the GE Centricity RIS application. Acts as a liaison in digital imaging and Information Technology Systems (IT) initiatives within various Radiology and Cardiology departments, IS, and other hospital departments regarding medical imaging initiatives. Works with Information Systems and vendors where appropriate to plan, coordinate and supervise the implementation of new system software and upgrades.

Qualifications:


Experience with Windows 7 and XP

Experience working with Windows registry and/or command line

Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, Net connect, etc.)

Windows Operating system Installation and Troubleshooting experience

PC Hardware Installation and Troubleshooting experience

PC Imaging Experience

Windows based PDA / Barcode Scanner Device Configuration

Wireless Device Configuration and troubleshooting

Knowledge of operating systems software and Web browser use with specific Radiology, Cardiology and PACS Systems applications experience.

Prior McKesson PACS Experience preferred

Prior experience with FUJI CR preferred

Knowledge of Vitrea 3 D Software, Dynacad, R2 Imager required

BS degree in related health care or information systems discipline preferred

5 years of recent experience managing a PACS System preferred

Southern NH Medical Center has McKesson PACS in Radiology, GE Centricity RIS, McKesson CPACS and Epiphany in Cardiology.

Candidate must demonstrate leadership, high energy, excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Individual must be willing to be contacted outside working hours as needed and exhibit rational judgment and thoroughness in assessment, evaluations, planning and documentation. Full-time 36-40 hours Day
