Rates Analyst/Senior Rates Analyst ~ (217052-980)

The Rates Analyst assists in the development of federal and state regulatory filings for gathering storage and transmission systems.- Responsibilities include the following:

- Performs internal compliance audits of FERC posting requirements;
- Performs financial forecasts and budgets, tracks performance and reports results;
- Prepares cost of service, rates and tariff sheets for regulatory filings;
- Audits FERC postings and reports results to Chief Compliance Officer;
- Tracks commercial contract expirations and assists with contract renewals/rate increases;
- Assists in the development of annual business plan and ongoing result tracking and reporting; and
- Assists in the development of financial models to support business development projects.Required Skills- Demonstrated abilities using Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Exchange
- Knowledge of basic financial principles
- Strong analytical skills Required Experience- Bachelor's degree in accounting, economics or finance
- One year of related analytical experience
- Master's degree in business administration preferred
