Superior Group is hiring 1 Real Estate Loan Processor's for our Redwood City, Ca based business partner

POSITION SUMMARY
This position requires a person to effectively multi task, meet deadlines and have attention to detail while working closely with their team to process and close a minimum of 40 loans per month. The job requires complete follow through from the beginning of the application process to the final funding and closing of the loan.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

 Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
 Consistently maintain a high level of thoroughness and accuracy with your work; well organized
 Strong word processing, database, and spreadsheet proficiency
 Thorough understanding of credit fundamentals, loan analysis, underwriting and decision-making, and broad knowledge of financial products and services; effective cross-selling skills

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
 Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control;
 Must maintain a valid registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System & Registry;
 Basic knowledge of consumer loan requests based upon Credit Union loan policy or credit granting criteria; of interest rates and how they are computed; and the documentation required for each loan type.
 Effectively utilizes personal and telephone interviewing techniques, including the ability to discuss loan denials, loan alternatives, and interest rates; responds to member inquiries and requests (i.e., Real Estate loan payments, loan amount qualifications, quoting loan payoffs).
 Within established guidelines and procedures, performs work requiring the use of judgment and discretion in making decisions to satisfy member needs.
 Recommends alterations or revisions to department policies and procedures as needed.
 Provides assistance to new and existing members with regard to all Credit Union products and services (includes all lending products and investment opportunities available).
 Performs special assignments and other work-related duties as assigned.

Required Skills / Qualifications:
2 Years of residential lending work experience
Bilingual - Spanish
