Reasearch and Development Intern Software Engineer

Do you like to solve technical problems? Do you like to write software? Agilent Component Test Division (CTD) is looking for a Intern Software Engineeer to work as part of the Research and Development Software Team. CTD is the world leader in measurement solutions using Network Analyzers, an integrated test system that provides critical data on a wide variety of devices, components, and materials. CTD develops new measurement methods and implements them using software on the world's best equipment for customers looking at new electronic technology, complex communications systems, natural elements, and even the human body.
Qualifications:
Specific duties and objectives:

-Work as part of a small team on developing software solutions based on Network Analyzers
-Design, develop, and test SW to achieve performance and quality goals
-Learn the fundamentals of Network Analysis

Required Qualifications/Skills:

-Working on a Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineer
-Have done some C, C++, C# or JAVA programming
-Have some experience creating software that incorporates mathematic/algorithmic solutions to real-world systems in Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematical Simulation or Models, Statistical Analysis, Robotics, etc.
-Comfortable developing software for the Windows Operating System
-Ability to work with cross functional teams
-Self-motivated and able to take direction on high-level objectives and create a plan to complete a SW project
-Good Communication skills

Helpful Skills:

-Experience with Visual Studio, Team Foundation, and work item tracking
-Experience creating graphical user interfaces
-Agile Software Development
