This is a first shift position (7:00-3:30)

At Sensors and Integrated Systems Goodrich Corporation based in Vergennes, Vermont, we design and manufacture a variety of systems for the aerospace industry worldwide. Such systems include fuel measurement and management systems, health and usage management systems, motion control systems and actuators, fuel system safety devices, proximity sensing systems, fire protection systems, braking systems, and steering systems.

The chosen candidate will be responsible for the receiving inspection of piece parts in accordance with blueprints, standards, procedures and characteristics of the inspection analysis. The individual will make decisions regarding product acceptance per product documentation and company workmanship criteria.
Record/report inspection results on appropriate forms and computer. Perform mechanical and electrical inspection. Must have the ability to prioritize numerous tasks to meet schedule needs.

The successful candidate must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
Review First Article Inspection reports for accuracy and completeness.
Interpret and understand procedures and Quality Standards.
Use appropriate inspection methods and equipment (inspection hand tools, surface plate, vernier, micrometer).
Basic computer skills, good written and verbal communication skills.
