SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

Supervise and coordinate all personnel and activities associated with the receiving department which include receipt ofincoming shipments, delivery and storage of inventory items in an accurate and timely manner. Ensure inventory accuracy and availability of stock to fulfill customer orders and manufacturing needs according to company policy and goals

Supervisor, Receiving, Data Entry Clerks, Forklift Operators

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Primary responsibilities are to:

Directly supervises employees in the Receiving Department

Prior to unloading confirm product is free of damages and report damages to Warehouse Manager and Quality.

Unload trucks, inspect rack locations for damaged or improperly wrapped pallets

Insure all pallets above the floor level are appropriately wrapped

Check inventory and inventoryreports to review current status using AS400

Analyze current procedures and make proposals for further enhancements with the goal to streamline the time needed for receiving products

Notify Facilities Maintenance for repair or replacement of PIT

Complete warehouse inspection and update warehouse inspection log

Provide leadership of warehouse personnel to ensure safety while maintaining a clean, organized and efficient operation

Evaluates employees performance on a timely basis and recommends personnel actions, such as promotions, transfer, discharge, or disciplinary measures

Lead team to comply with safety requirements and maintain safe work practices in dept

Perform other duties as needed or assigned

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required for his position.

* Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent required, Associates degreepreferred
* Certifications: Powered Industrial Truck
* Experience:

3-5years of management experience in a fast paced Warehouse or Manufacturing environment

Knowledge of computers and programs contained with Microsoft Office, AS 400experience

Able to lead and motivate teams to high performance in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment

Experience with cGMP procedures and knowledge of safety, OSHA regulations

Demonstrate safe behavior and support department/plant Safety goals in a continuous improvement process.

Perform other duties as needed or assigned

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED

Ability to utilize a computer, telephone, fax and copy machine as well as other general office equipment

Ability to utilize powered industrial trucks
