Receptionist - Up to $30,000
The largest Bay Area health care provider is looking for strong office professionals who are flexible, possess attention to detail, and have a can do attitude to provide support for a short to medium term project.
General Purpose and Position Summary:
To attend to visitors and deal with inquiries on the phone and face-to-face. Supply information regarding the organization in a positive manner to the general public, clients and customers and help maintain the workflow of the office.
Main Duties and Responsibilities (essential functions):
Answer telephone, screen and direct calls
Take and relay messages through hard copy and email. If urgent, may call the person via cell phone.
Provide information to callers
Greet persons entering the organization and offer refreshments, etc.
Direct to persons to correct destination
Deal with queries from the public and customers
Ensures knowledge of staff movements in and out of the organization.
General administrative and clerical support
Prepare letters and documents
Receive and sort mail and deliveries
Assist with appointment scheduling
Assist with maintaining appointment diary either manually or electronically
Organize meetings in conference room and maintain it in an orderly and clean fashion.
Tidy and maintain reception area
Assist with special projects
Must possess a high school diploma and have knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures. Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications is a must. Must have knowledge of customer service principles and practices. At least 1-2 years of related experience.
