span Summary: br Position: Records Coordinator br Duration: Long Term Contract br Location: Houston, TX 77046 br Salary: $16 - 20 an hour (depending on previous job experience) br Schedule: M-F 8-5 br   br   br Do you have experience as a records coordinator in the oil and gas industry? Do you have experience with indexing and working with well logs and well files? Do you have intermediate skills in Excel, Word and Outlook? Then we have the opportunity for you! We have a long term Records Coordinator job in Houston, TX. You will be responsible for assisting with the creation, maintenance and circulation of oil and gas well files, inventory, and onsite active and semi-active physical records. To qualify for this position you must have a minimum of 2 years of Records Management and/or document control experience within the records department experience. br   br   br YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AS A RECORDS COORDINATOR: br •Apply and coordinate information life cycle management of company records from creation, classification, storage, retrieval to disposition br •Demonstrate working knowledge of energy industry specific records and content types including seismic, well, field, production, contract, land, and general corporate records br •Provide support for file management, information requests, and records retrieval services br •Assist in the documentation of Records Center processes and procedures br •Demonstrate working knowledge of electronic records management principles and standards br •Assist in the execution of data standards, classification and procedures in support of cross-functional data excellence initiatives br •Perform data quality control and monitor standard practices and procedures for managing physical and electronic records br •Perform effective internal and external document control service and other related tasks br •Oil and Gas Well file creation and re-distribution of content br   br   br JOB REQUIREMENTS br •Demonstrate working knowledge of energy industry specific records and content types including seismic, well, field, production, contract, land, and general corporate records br •2+ years of relevant job experience as a records manager and/or document control within a records department br •Solid written and verbal communication skills br •Land and well records content and/or records management competencies are required.   br   br   br /span
